  • Technique
  • Footwork
  • Body Mechanics (necessary to successfully complete the Olympic Lifts)

Classes held on Tuesday and Thursday at 5:30 pm and Saturday at 11:00 am.

These classes are included in the regular monthly membership.

Information

This technique based class breaks down weightlifting into segments to teach the how and why of the Snatch and the Clean and Jerk. The majority of these classes are performed with a barbell only, focusing on different positions within each lift. Our highly skilled coaches take the time to give individual attention as needed and to thoroughly answer questions related to the lifts.

Who

This program is designed for people who want to improve on their technique, need more experience in each position, or want to learn the Olympic lifts more thoroughly under the watchful eye of an experienced coach. Focus is strictly on technique and heavy lifting is discouraged during this class.
